• Lane Keep Assist (LKA) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW) – If you appear to be unintentionally leaving the confines of your lane, LKA gently guides you back to your lane. If needed, LDW alerts will activate to let you know you’re drifting. If you have the turn signal on or appear to be intentionally leaving a lane, the system will not activate.
• Following Distance Indicator – Alerts you when you’re following the vehicle ahead too closely by showing you the gap time (in seconds) between the two of you.
• Front Pedestrian Braking – If a pedestrian is detected in front of you, the system alerts you to them. If it seems like you won’t stop on time, the system will enhance your hard braking or intervene with emergency automatic hard braking.
• IntelliBeam® Auto High Beams – Your Encore GX’s high-beam headlamps are automatically turned on/off in accordance with the current conditions.
